Canal Community Days Sponsorship

You – or your business – can make a direct impact on the experience of over five million visitors of all ages expected to visit the C&O Canal NHP in 2024 for rest, recreation, and the enjoyment of nature and history. Become a Canal Community Days Sponsor, and enable the C&O Canal Trust to recruit and manage hundreds of volunteers throughout the year to undertake preservation, conservation, maintenance, and beautification projects along the 184.5-mile length of the canal from DC to Cumberland, Maryland.

This special annual event, held under the stars beside the canal, is the C&O Canal Trust’s largest annual fundraising event in support of the C&O Canal National Historical Park (NHP). Over 200 guests will enjoy a lively evening spending time with supporters of this beloved national treasure.
Proceeds from the event support the mission of the C&O Canal Trust, the official nonprofit partner of the C&O Canal NHP, and directly fund preservation programs of the C&O Canal NHP, which hosts millions of visitors each year along its 184.5-mile length. Each year, a specific program is spotlighted. This year the evening’s spotlight will focus on the C&O Canal NHP’s Canal Classrooms program.
