Snyders Landing
Another point of boat access to the Potomac River, Snyders Landing also includes parking on the berm side of the Canal. Originally named for the nearby town of Sharpsburg, it was later re-named after a local coal and grain establishment near the Canal here.
Just downstream, you can find the remains of an old footbridge the Canal company built to provide local access to the Potomac River.
