Bavarian Inn
The Bavarian Inn is a European-style boutique resort overlooking the Potomac. They offer a formal dining experience serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and buffet-style brunch on Sundays. You’ll find outdoor seating, a fire pit, staff in traditional German attire, and an infinity pool. Their newest addition is the Bavarian Brothers Brewery company. At mile marker 72.7, take the circuitous ramp from the towpath to Shepherdstown Pike. At the top of the ramp, turn left and cross the bridge on a wide sidewalk. Continue for .7 miles, turn right on Shepherd Grade Rd., and the Bavarian will be on your right.
