Lockhouse 6 transports overnight guests into the 1950s and the struggle to save the C&O Canal.
Canal Quarters offers an extraordinary interpretive opportunity for people of all ages. Stay overnight in a lockhouse and experience life as it may have been during a bygone era on the C&O Canal. Seven lockhouses have been painstakingly rehabilitated and furnished to evoke different eras in the canal’s history.
With a gift certificate, you can choose the lockhouse and length of stay, while allowing the recipient to select the dates that best suits his/her schedule. Please allow 7-10 days for receipt of gift certificate by mail. Need it more quickly? Contact the Trust by phone at 301-745-8888.
Lockhouse 6 has full amenities, including a working kitchen and bathroom with shower. At mile marker 5.4.
