About the Event
This unique event, held under the stars, is the C&O Canal Trust’s annual fundraising gala in support of the C&O Canal National Historical Park (NHP). Over 200 guests will enjoy great food, libations, a campfire, music, and more…all to benefit the Park!
Proceeds from the event support the mission of the C&O Canal Trust, and directly fund preservation programs of the C&O Canal NHP, which hosts five million visitors each year along its 184.5-mile length. Park After Dark is the largest fundraising event held annually to benefit our Park.

Please Note: This is a rain or shine event. In the unlikely event Park After Dark is canceled due to severely inclement weather, the cost of your sponsorship or ticket will be considered a 100 percent tax-deductible donation to the C&O Canal Trust. Revenue raised at Park After Dark is critical to the Trust’s ability to support the C&O Canal National Historical Park.
