Cross Wills Creek on the pedestrian footbridge accessible from the track level in front of the Western Maryland Railway Station to the small Riverside Park where the George Washington cabin from Fort Cumberland stands. The marker denoting the beginning point of the Cumberland or National Road is on the small pedestrian "island" at the foot of Greene Street leading to the Blue Bridge.
