Canal Community Days in Williamsport 2024 Impact

As the first Canal Community Days volunteer event of the season, you really did Make This Park Shine in Williamsport! Thank you so much for your dedication to the C&O Canal National Historical Park.

Together, you helped:

• Remove 1,425 pounds of garlic mustard
• Plant 59 native plants
• Spread 1 cubic yard of paver base, 5 cubic yards of mulch, and 3 cubic yards of topsoil
• Replace 28 boards on 10 picnic tables
• Install 22 landscaping timbers around garden beds
• Remove 200 pounds of trash

We are grateful for your work in support of the park and your commitment to protecting and preserving the C&O Canal for all of us now and in the future.
