Canal Community Days in Allegany County 2024 Impact

Wow, you really did Make This Park Shine in Allegany County! Thank you so much for your dedication to the C&O Canal National Historical Park.

On Saturday, May 18, six dedicated volunteers came ready to make a difference at Spring Gap Campground. Together, you helped to remove 75 pounds of trash and 125 pounds of garlic mustard.

We are grateful for your work in support of the park and your commitment to protecting and preserving the C&O Canal for all of us now and in the future.
