Canal Community Days at Great Falls 2024 Impact

As the first Canal Community Days volunteer event of the season, you really did Make This Park Shine at Great Falls! Thank you so much for your dedication to the C&O Canal National Historical Park.

Together, you helped:

• Remove nearly 1 ton of garlic mustard
• Lay 10 tons of topsoil
• Spread 45 pounds of grass seed
• Stain the Charles F. Mercer canal boat
• Fill 100 yards of potholes on the towpath
• Remove 75 pounds of trash
• Spread 14 cubic yards of mulch

We are grateful for your work in support of the park and your commitment to protecting and preserving the C&O Canal for all of us now and in the future.
