To celebrate the C&O Canal National Historical Park, we are featuring a new series called Canal Community Stories, adapted from the popular 50 Canal Stories that were published as a commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Park in 2021. You can read the 50 Canal Stories here.
Each story will take a look at a person’s relationship with the C&O Canal. Whether an NPS ranger, a volunteer, or a visitor, everyone has a story to tell about the canal!
