Devonshire Arms Café and Pub
The Devonshire, or the Dev, is a British-style café and pub featuring teas and a pastry of the day. The Dev is decorated with a wide variety of art from Eastern panhandle artists. They have outdoor seating and serve lunch, dinner, and drinks. At mile marker 72.7, take the circuitous ramp from the towpath to Shepherdstown Pike. At the top of the ramp, turn left and cross the bridge on a wide sidewalk. Continue for 1 mile and then turn left on W German St., following signs for downtown Shepherdstown. Continue for .3 miles, turn right on S. Princess St., and Devonshire will be on your right.
