Directions to Lockhouse 49

From I-81:

Take I-81 to I-70 West toward Hancock, Maryland. Then, take Exit 18 for Clear Spring, Maryland. Bear right off exit ramp for MD Route 68 West. Turn left on 40 West (East Cumberland Street). Next, turn left on Martin Street (at the traffic light). Travel 2.7 miles, then make a left on Four Locks Road. Proceed straight for half a mile. The lockhouse will be on your right. Park on either side of the house. There is additional parking at the Four Locks Boat Ramp Parking Area.

From Williamsport:

Head either East or West on West Potomac Street until you reach MD-68 W/N Conococheague St. Stay on MD-68 for 5 miles, then turn left onto MD-56 W. Follow MD-56 for three and a half miles, then turn left onto Four Locks Road. Follow Four Locks Road for about a mile, and Lockhouse 49 will be on your right.
