A 23-mile paved path that follows the former Western Maryland Railway line. The WMRT is an excellent trail for bicycling, hiking, cross country skiing and other recreational activities. The trail can be accessed from I-70 at exit 12, Big Pool, or Exit 23, Hancock, or from I-68 at exit 77, Pearre Station.
