C&O Canal Story
In 1971 the C&O Canal was designated a national historical park. To commemorate its 40th anniversary, the National Park Service and the C&O Canal Trust are unveiling 40 hidden gems in the park over 40 weeks. These discoveries, located throughout the park's 184.5 mile length, will:
