The Trust is introducing a new way to experience the Canal Quarters program. Thanks to grant funding from the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County, we’re launching virtual visits to Lockhouse 10 and Lockhouse 22. These resources expand access to the program by offering canal enthusiasts and newcomers from near and far a closer look at the unique history of these historic lockhouses. Virtual visits will enable you to explore the lockhouses on your own time at no cost. Eventually, the Trust plans to add virtual visits to all Canal Quarters lockhouses so more visitors can enjoy these historical treasures.
